YM is now a postdoc researcher in computer vision and machine learning at the University of Oxford, working with Prof. Philip Torr. Now he is interested in representation learning and many related applications.
Previously, YM was an Applied Researcher 2 at eBay and a research scientist at IIAI. He received his PhD in CVML at the University of East Anglia in 2018, under the supervision of Prof. Ling Shao.
Before becoming a machine learning researcher, YM studied electronics at University of Sheffield and Tongji University, and had worked for Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) as a code monkey.
